Today I’m not even going to try to force myself to write. Not after yesterday. So unless a genius strikes me, I will not be writing today. Means I’ll be out of NPI, but well, I already have said a few days before that this doesn’t work for me and that I would maintain this only as long as I feel good about it. And yesterday I felt really bad about it.

If this is it, then you’ve already far surpassed the 7,750 words minimum that you could’ve settled for in NPI. So hold your head up high – you’ve absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! Most importantly, I hope you got what you wanted from this event. *kneels deeply*

Keep it real, Pack’s (is that what the kidz say nowadays?)
Seriously, don’t feel bad. We’re all doing this for our own reasons, to start – or stop – is completely fine. It shows testament to your understanding of your writing, and caring about it.
The minute I feel like I’m becoming a robot defined by my word count and not the quality or passion on the page, I’m out too – I think anyone would be.

Guys, thank you. It means a lot to me that you understand.
